TIMPANI – Handheld Tympanometer
The TIMPANI handheld tympanometer by INVENTIS is a lightweight, compact and powerful device that enables middle ear screening tests to be performed easily, quickly and accurately.
It is capable of performing automatic tympanometry as well as, optionally, a licensed acoustic reflex test and pure-tone audiometry screening. The basic version of TIMPANI allows screening tympanometry using a 226 Hz probe tone. Optional features include a 1 kHz probe tone licence, reflex test extensions for 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 kHz, and a pure-tone screening audiometer. The device features a convenient colour display with touchscreen interface.
